Beng Mealea & Kampong Khleang Full Day – Private Tour

Morning: 8 or 8.30am (flexible time) after breakfast pick up from your hotel in Siem Reap and journey by A/C vehicle to the magnificent jungle ruin temple, located some 65km north of Siem Reap City

Your driver will bring you to see the history and mysteries of the temple of Beng Mealea as your tour the magnificent grounds in the heart of the jungle.

After you have explored the complex you will see the Stone Quarry where the sandstone was cut from the mountain and explain how the blocks were transported to the site.

Then continue to Kampong Khleang village the characterful, natural, and charming village where the bulk of the locals draw their livelihood from the great Tonle Sap lake and its tributaries.

We jump to the tour boats that can take you along the waterways admiring the stilted houses and visiting pagodas, also, heading out onto the Tonle Sap to visit the floating villages and the daily life. You can also stroll the roads of the village and check out the market stalls.

You will then stop for a well-deserved rest and lunch at a Khmer restaurant. then continue to Roluos Group Temple before return back to your hotel in Siem Reap
