Detial Itinerary
DAY 1: Sunrise at Angkor Wat & Temple in Small Circuit
We start with a pre-dawn departure (4.30 to 4.45am depending on the time of year) from your hotel for seeing the sunrise at Angkor Wat is a breathtaking, and it will always be a pleasant and memorable experience.
Spend about two hours exploring the interior of this magnificent temple, listen as your guide deciphers the countless stories depicted in the bas-relief carvings, providing insights into life during the height of the Khmer Empire.
Enjoy a short rest and an optional breakfast outside the temple (not included).
Continue your morning with a visit to the atmospheric Ta Prohm temple, stands as one of the most magical places in Angkor Complex. The sight of massive tree roots hugging old stones creates a scene straight from a fairytale, gives visitors a chance to see how nature and human works can blend in stunning ways.
Next, head to Angkor Thom city, passing by the famous Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of Elephants on your way to the stunning Bayon Temple.
Marvel at the beautifully crafted central towers of The Bayon (12th century), adorned with more than 200 enormous faces.
Visit the southern Gate of Angkor Thom, flanked by a row of 54 stone figures on each side – gods to the left and demons to the right – and explore the fortified city of Angkor Thom.
Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Angkor Archaeological Park before returning to your hotel, with the tour concluding between 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM.
