7 Days – Explore Siem Reap & Amazing Temples of Angkor

TOUR ITINERARY


DAY 1: (Arrival – Siem Reap)

You will welcome by team with your name on signboard then transfer to your hotel for check in. Overnight in Siem Reap

DAY 2: (Siem Reap)

Note: Please ask your hotel to prepare a breakfast box for you. We will find a suitable place nearby the Angkor Wat temple for you for having breakfast.

Morning: We leave early morning from your hotel at 4:45 am or your preferable timing.

See Sunrise at the Angkor Wat temple. and then we continue to explore Ta Prom before crowds.
  • Ta Prohm – The temple covered by jungle with huge tree growing on and the root entwine the ruin temple.
  • South Gate of Angkor Thom – The most popular monumental gate of Angkor Thom city to be built by Buddhist King Jayavarman VII
  • Bayon – the four faces temple and use as the state temple and mountain temple of Buddhist King.
  • Baphuong The tallest pyramidal temple with huge reclining Buddha carved on the bas relief, closed 27 years for restoration by French.
  • The enclosure wall of Royal Palace and the temple inside it called Phimeanakas
  • Elephant and Leper King Terraces – the platform for King and his commander watching to performance.
Afternoon: Break for lunch at restaurant inside the Angkor Archaeological Park then visit to.
  • Angkor Wat – The largest religious monument in the world
Highly recommend you to have dinner with Cambodia traditional Shows at Kulen II restaurant (12$ per person for dinner+shows). Please tell us if you want and then we can help you to book front seat for you.

DAY 3: (Siem Reap)

Morning: At 8am pick up from your hotel or preferable timing:

  • Preah Khan a maze of vaulted corridors, fine carvings and lichen-clad stonework, and huge tree growing on temple
  • Neak Pean the temple on the Island in middle of the East Baray namely Jayatataka with five pools four on east side and the big one the center and temple stand on the central pool
  • Ta Som is the Buddhist temple with the most beautiful of Buddha tree growing the east gate with it root intertwine the block of sandstone
  • East Mebon situated on an islet in the center of the Eastern Baray reservoir
Afternoon: Break for lunch and relax in the Angkor park then visit to:
  • Pre Rup the Pyramid mountain temple and has been used as crematorium
  • Srah Srang the Royal swimming pool then back to Siem Reap. Overnight in Siem Reap

DAY 4: (Siem Reap)

Morning: Pick-up time at 7:30am from your hotel or your preferable timing
  • Banteay Srei a unique red sandstone temple with beautiful carving
  • Waterfall – We will bring you to explore the most secret mountain in Cambodia and the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire, Phnom Kulen mountain. What we can see at the mountain are the most beautiful natural water in Cambodia, Thousand of Shiva linga carving under surface of water and Wat Preah Ang Thom, a 16th-century Buddhist monastery for the giant Reclining Buddha, the country’s largest 16th century Buddha statue.

Afternoon: Break for lunch and relax then visit to:

  • Local village to see local people making Palm Sugar
  • Banteay Samre a temple built the same time and king who built Angkor Wat temple

DAY 5: (Siem Reap)

Morning: Pick-up time at 8am from your hotel or your preferable timing

  • Beng Mealea is remained running overgrown by jungle, make it one of the most picturesque and romantic appeal. Take your time walking round.
  • O’Thmor Dap is sandstone quarry for build the temples.
Afternoon: Break for lunch and relax
Visit Tonle Sap Lake and Kampong Phluk village where can see the fisherman living on stilt houses 8 – 12 meters height and waiting for Sunset at the Lake. Back to your hotel, overnight in Siem Rep

DAY 6: (Siem ReapPreah Vihear)

Morning: Pick-up time at 8am from your hotel or your preferable timing to visit

  • Preah Vihear temple is an ancient Hindu temple built during the period of the Khmer Empire, that is situated atop a 525-metre (1,722 ft) cliff in the Dângrêk Mountains. Then visit Koh Ker Group is the 10th-century temples complex in the north Cambodian jungle. A former capital of the Khmer Empire, the site is now remote and heavily forested.
Afternoon: Break for lunch and relax
  • Koh Ker group Temple, is a stepped 7-tiered pyramid. The large rectangular tank, Rahal Baray, supplied water to the complex. At Koh Ker we can see the temples such as: Prasat KrahomPrasat ThomPrasat PramPrasat Neang KhmauPrasat BakPrasat ChenPrasat Balang (Prasat Leung Moi), Prasat Thneng (Prasat Leung Pee), Prasat Leung BonPrasat Andong Kuk (Prasat Sralau), Prasat KrachapPrasat Bantaey Pee CheanPrasat ChrapPrasat Damrei. Back to Siemr Reap Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 7: (Siem Reap – Departure)

Morning: 8pm or your preferable timing: you will pick up by Tuk Tuk & driver for city tour visit local market and Buddhist monastery, Silk farm, Old market, back to your hotel for check out then transfer to Siem Reap International Airport finished our services.

RECOMMENDED


  • Tour Guide is necessary for guiding around Angkor complex, I recommended to hire a guide for your tour in Siem Reap.
  • All our drivers can speak English and easy to understand with informative, but they can not accompany you in to the temples

REMARK:


  • Please dress properly for visiting temples. If you wear shorts and T-shirts,make sure they are long enough to be knee length and shoulder covered. No scarf or shawl and tank top are allowed.
  • We would like to suggest you to wear the light cotton clothes because of hot and humid.Excepted 3 months such as November, December and January is nice weather.
  • In case, please take camera re-charger with you when we have lunch you can recharge it.
  • In Cambodia you needn’t to change your money. US Dollar is acceptable everywhere. And even you withdraw your money from ATM it is in US dollar.
